As a Senior Consultant with Barrington Consulting, Lois Gibson has over 20 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has played key roles on small to large-scale, diverse, and multi-jurisdictional engagements in the transit, education, health care, telecommunications, and insurance sectors. Each assignment is a unique experience that requires Lois to assist her clients in reaching their business goals. Lois uses a consistent and transparent approach to data gathering, research, analysis, business process design, requirements definition, issues or gaps identification, and recommendations. This model ensures an independent, thorough analysis that balances competing perspectives across multiple stakeholders. Lois regularly facilitates workshops by engaging participants in open discussion, resolving misunderstandings, managing group dynamics, maintaining neutrality, and eventually, gaining consensus on recommended solutions.

As a Change Leader, Lois appreciates the impact technology enabled business transformation has on the people-side of an organization. She supports her approach to change with a proven set of tools and methodologies resulting in successful adoption of the new technology. She presents different perspectives of the future state in order to generate discussion that identifies areas of change and potential gaps. Using the information collected, Lois illustrates the direction for the change initiative in the leadership engagement, communication and training strategies which guide her clients through the acceptance and implementation of the new systems.

Lois is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has earned her Prosci® Change Management designation.
