The New Brunswick Liquor Corporation embarked on an initiative to perform an assessment of its Information Technology (IT) assets, capabilities and services to determine how to improve support to the organization in the achievement of its strategic goals and objectives. Based on any limitations that might exist, the corporation had the intention of defining initiatives to address these limitations and initiate strategic projects accordingly.

Barrington Consulting was engaged by the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation to:
- Conduct an IT Gap Analysis to identify gaps limiting Alcool New Brunswick Liquor’s (ANBL) ability to fully meet its strategic goals and objectives;
- Develop an IT Strategic Blueprint and Roadmap to identify, detail and schedule strategic initiatives required to address the gaps;
- Provide Program and Project Management services to support the detailed planning and execution of key strategic initiatives including the implementation of ERP software.
By successfully delivering the IT Gap Analysis and IT Strategic Blueprint and Roadmap, Barrington was able to assist NB Liquor in identifying and prioritizing the required strategic initiatives that would better position ANBL to be achieve its mandate, goals and objectives. Barrington also provided assistance to NB Liquor through roles it played in the project planning, execution and management of its key strategic initiative, and the expansion of its ERP solution.
