Technical Architect

At Barrington, we work with our clients to enhance their business solutions by enabling more effective use of IT solutions. Barrington is actively recruiting for exceptional candidates as an Application, Data and/or Technical Architect for a permanent full time position.

We are seeking professionals with the following experience and qualifications:

· At least 10 years in IT with 5+ years as an Application, Data or Technical architect;

· Design of Client Server and Web based systems;

· Data modeling;

· Systems development lifecycle methodology;

· Team lead experience;

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

· Familiarity with physical and conceptual models; and

· University Degree from a post secondary institution with a focus in Information Management or Computer Science.

Consulting experience and/or experience in the following sectors are considered assets:

· Public Sector (Municipal/Provincial/Federal)

· Healthcare

· Insurance

Required Abilities:

· Strong written and verbal communications.

· Excellent presentation skills.

· Detail oriented yet creative.

· Goal oriented, results driven and client focused.
